Listen!

I Know an old Lady who Swallowed a Fly, by Bonne and Mills

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly.
My, oh my, she swallowed a flyfly
Why oh why did she swallow a fly?
Now I think she’ll probably die.

I know an old lady who swallowed a spider.
that wiggled and jiggled and giggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch a fly.
My oh my she swallowed a flyspider
Why oh why did she swallow the fly?
Now I think she’ll probably die.

I know an old lady who swallowed a bird.
How absurd to swallow a bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and jiggled and giggled inside her.                                                             bird
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
My oh my she swallowed a fly
Why oh why did she swallow the fly?
Now I think she’ll probably die.

I know an old lady who swallowed a cat.
Imagine that, she swallowed a cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
that wiggled and jiggled and giggled inside her.                                        cat
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
My oh my she swallowed a fly
Why oh why did she swallow the fly?
Now I think she’ll probably die.
